Yay

My parents are in town! I made Pioneer Woman’s Italian Drip Beef and Skinnytaste Mediterranean Quinoa Salad for dinner one night.

My mom brought me a Jul shawl pin and my Christmas gift yarn bowl from a pottery shop in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Easter dinner: Baked ham with rum and Coke via The Noble Pig.

Florence’s potatoes/Dorothy’s potatoes:

one bag Southern-style hash browns (square potatoes), defrosted. Ours was 32 ounces.

1 bunch green onions, chopped

8 ounces sour cream

1 stick butter, melted

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

3/4 —> 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

salt and pepper to taste

Mix everything. Bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour (until bubbling). Check halfway through and stir.

  1. I mispronounced the first name of the creator of Park Pullover. Her name is not Kristen, it’s Kirsten. SO sorry!
