Hi! I’m Laura, a knitter who works the night shift.
I live in southeast Virginia, where the need for knitwear is limited to a few months a year. That doesn’t stop me from wearing handknit socks for most of the year. I’ve kept about half of the 100-plus pairs I’ve made. I’ve recently started knitting sweaters — AKA another rabbit hole.
I live in a little apartment with my beau, my cocker spaniel and a LOT of yarn. I work every night until midnight or 1 a.m. as an editor in a newsroom, so I burn the midnight oil after work to squeeze in some stitches.

Hello,
First, I want to say congrats on making it onto iTunes New & Noteworthy tab on their Podcasts front page! That has to feel pretty cool to see your work on the front page and it’s a great accomplishment to be recognized by iTunes. The reason I am contacting you is that I came across your video podcasts via iTunes and I wanted to reach out to you in order to ask what you are currently doing regarding the video production aspect of your podcasts. I am the director of video production at my company called Clarity Podcasting and we have a strong background in both audio and video podcast production. I would love to talk more about your video production needs and to see if there is anything we could do to improve your current process. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for contacting me back. I look forward to hearing from you!
God Bless,
Jake Cockerill
