Show notes | Episode 4: Discombobulation

Show notes: This podcast is available on iTunes, too. You can find me on Instagram and RavelryHere is The Knit Shift group over there.

Finished knits: Nada.

In progress:

A baby sweater: Pattern is Sweet Baby Sweater, a free pattern by Caroline Wiens. US3/3.25mm needles. Using Opal Neon (discontinued line) and Knit Picks Stroll in Buckskin. Using Chiaogoo needles, my fave.

Socks: Manos del Uruguay sock in Colobri, toe-up two-at-a-time Magic Loop. US 1.5/2.5 mm. Also Chiaogoo needles.

Soon to cast on: Diluted Cowl, part of the #dilutedcowlKAL on Instagram. I am using Texas Dyed Wool gradient sock in Orange Can Be Neutral.

Yarms: Jill Draper Makes Stuff Esopus in Clear Skies.

Yay: Game of Thrones pattern collection by Lara Smoot — especially Tyrion’s Gift and Mother of Dragons shawl. (Note: I said in the episode that the collection was a year old. I was wrong! She’s released the patterns bit by bit, and Tyrion’s Shawl just came out a few days ago. Apologies.)

Lipstick: L’oreal glossy stain in Infinite Fuschia

  1. Hi! I’m really enjoying the podcast. I just want to say though, that when you’re putting the subtitles, they’re getting cut off on either side so the viewer can’t read the entire thing. Just thought I’d let you know!

Everything else looks good. Nice lamp! 🙂

    • Yikes! Thanks for the feedback. I’ll leave more space on each side of the subtitles next episode — I forgot about the different resolutions of different screens (for example, it all fits on my screen). Thank you so so much!

      • You’re welcome! I’d take a look at your most recent episode on youtube. It’ll probably show up if you watch it that way. If you record in widescreen but upload in a more square format I can see where things would get cut off.
