(I don’t know that text showed up at the beginning of the video but I am too lazy to reupload. Oops!)

Show notes: This podcast is available on iTunes. I am on Instagram and Ravelry.  Here is The Knit Shift group on Ravelry.

Finished knits:

Diluted Cowl, part of the #dilutedcowlKAL on Instagram. I am using Texas Dyed Wool gradient sock in Orange Can Be Neutral.

In progress:

Socks: Manos del Uruguay sock in Colobri, toe-up two-at-a-time Magic Loop. US 1.5/2.5 mm. Chiaogoo needles.

A baby sweater: Pattern is Sweet Baby Sweater, a free pattern by Caroline Wiens. US3/3.25mm Chiaogoo needles. Using Opal Neon (discontinued) and Knit Picks Stroll in Buckskin.

Soon to cast on:

I’m participating in the Stitch Addiction podcast May shawl KAL. I am making a Serena Shadow Shawl in Copper Corgi Fiber Studio Savannah Sock in Peacock and Fleece Artist BFL Sock (no colorway).

No stash enhancement this week.

I bought a spindle from Aaron Makes Stuff.

There will be a giveaway for the first person to see me at MDS&W and who utters the magic phrase. Watch this episode to find out! (By the way, I’ll be there Saturday.) That person will receive a skein of Crock-o-Dye sock yarn.

There will be a giveaway of Vesper Sock Yarn (colorway: Autumn Sky) when The Knit Shift podcast group reaches 100 members.

Patterns of the week:

Dundas pullover by GlennaKnits

If you see me at Maryland Sheep and Wool, please say hello!

  1. Hi Laura, I love that you bought a spindle. I have been thinking about it but haven’t jumped down the rabbit hole ….yet 😉 I can’t wait to see how it goes for you. Good luck! Wendy
